Narcolepsy affliction???
Nora's had a busy week, exhausting, so it seems. We're still (as always) working on the house. We had the windows trimmed in this week. We had a cyclecross party, a baby shower, and a surprise birthday party to attend. Grandma and Grandpa had their inspection on their new house. I'm working, Ralph's still flying and staining doors, and then there's Nora's endless schedule of getting bounced around, eating, spitting up, and pooping. Oh and changing clothes at least 2-3 times each day. It's alot. She'll be wiggling one minute and asleep the next. In the above picture she had been working tirelessly with Ralph trying to find him last minute tickets to Seattle for the weekend for Fred Beckey's 85th birthday.
She got a bumbo. It's basically a lazy boy for infants. It's really high backed, and has a center that allows them to sit up-right. It holds her pretty snug, so theres no way (this week anyways) that she can wiggle out of it. It's awesome.
It's official, Nora's doing her part to be a Green baby. We finally made the switch to the G diaper system. I've been meaning to use them from the beginning, but had regular disposables to use up first. The first day, none of us were sold. I starting thinking " ohh come on, 50 days vs 500 years to break down, it's not that big of difference....."
Don't worry though, we love them now. The consensus is they're cool and really a pretty slick system. Her skin has stayed rash free as they keep her dry, and when we put them on right, they don't leak. I wonder if these G-diaper people have ever thought to do a study on water consumption though? Our washing has certainly increased.
